Your impact: This is what you'll do!
As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will join a solid team of about eight colleagues who are responsible for second-line support to our customers. You're the first point of contact for customers with questions about their cloud environment. You listen, analyze, and decide whether to handle the issue independently or pass it on to a specialized colleague.
As you grow in your role, you will be trained to become a fully-fledged cloud specialist who builds, implements, manages, and monitors efficient and optimal cloud solutions. In addition, you will contribute significantly to internal automation projects, using, among other things, Powershell Scripting or automation tools such as Ansible.
Over time, you will choose a specialization that suits you, with a focus on Azure, Microsoft 365, or network technologies, for example. To prepare you well for this, you will receive an extensive six-month on-the-job cloud training, after which you will continue your career in one of our specialized teams.
What have you got up your sleeve?
What we expect from you is that you have a diploma in an IT field and a genuine interest in cloud technology, with the ambition to further develop in this area. A basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure is important to us, just like experience with Powershell Scripting – or at least the motivation to get started with it.
We are looking for someone with strong soft skills, who can communicate with customers in an empathetic manner and provide them with proper support. You think analytically, have great problem-solving skills, and you are not afraid to act proactively or to seek help from colleagues when necessary.
Do you also have knowledge of Microsoft Identity Management, SQL or Open Source technologies? Then you already have an edge over other candidates.
