A new chapter: Chapter Lead
Arxus has undergone quite a few changes since Dieter started working here. His two cents: “For me, it felt primarily like an environment where I could shape my own path." That's partly how he approached us with his plan for those managed services. We completely agree with him. It's great to see him thrive in our organization!
Our company environment also suits him, he says: “I really like the events Arxus organizes, but especially the general group atmosphere is good; not obvious when you get this big as a company.” That, by the way, is one of the reasons why we divide our Tribes at Arxus into 'Chapters'. Dieter is one such Chapter Lead. “Well, it's mostly a title though,” he laughs. “I do what I did before, although now I am a clear point of contact and take final responsibility. What I do like is that I get to go on weekends for Tribe and Chapter Leads to help shape Arxus. I get a lot of energy from that!”
Bonus: Microsoft MVP
The passion that Dieter clearly has for IT was noticed by Microsoft and it surprised no one when they recently recognized him as a Microsoft MVP (Windows 365). Dieter beams when he talks about it. “I must admit that I was quite skeptical about Windows 365, but once I delved into it, it really became my thing. I've presented it both internally and externally, given talks at events, provided product feedback (which they at Microsoft apparently appreciate), started writing content for my blog, you name it. Apparently, they noticed that,” he says happily. That's how Microsoft also invited Dieter to go to Seattle for a conference, which is no small feat. From Arxus, we are also very proud of him and only encourage his work around this!
