How does it work?

What are the benefits?
1. Simpler, centralized management
You can easily add your on-prem data centers, virtual servers at other cloud providers, or edge locations to Azure Arc. And manage them all from a single dashboard, just as if they were Azure resources. This way, you not only get a better view of your entire cloud environment, but you can also update and monitor it in a uniform manner.
2. Streamlined security infrastructure
With Azure Arc, you can easily implement your security solutions across your entire IT environment. And in a snap, push updates to all your virtual machines, regardless of whether they are on-prem, in a private cloud, or another public cloud. With Azure Arc, you thus get a unified solution to handle auditing, compliance, and role-based access management in your hybrid environment.
Moreover, you can also make smooth use of the security tools in Azure. And deploy them seamlessly across your entire environment.
3. Greater scalability and flexibility
Azure Arc is not just a convenient tool for managing your hybrid environment from a central dashboard. It also offers a lot of additional possibilities in terms of scalability. Whether it's on-prem datacenters, virtual machines in the public cloud or containerized applications, with Azure Arc you can scale them up and down seamlessly according to your needs.
This way you enjoy a lot more flexibility and your environment also becomes much more cost-effective.
4. Smoother monitoring and control
Because Azure Arc completely standardizes your security infrastructure, you have better control over your entire hybrid cloud environment. This way, for example, you can take advantage of Azure's built-in monitoring and compliance features. And you can extend the Azure Governance best practices throughout your entire infrastructure.
In addition, you also have access to the detailed reports in Azure. This allows you to always keep an eye on the performance and status of your resources.
